Christina Beatie - Aurora High School graduate. She plans to attend Evangel University to pursue a bachelor's degree in music education and vocal performance.
Joshua Anderson - Glendale High School graduate. He plans to attend Drury University to pursue a bachelor's degree in English literature.
Lauren Kerivan - Central High School graduate and valedictorian. She plans to attend either Duke University or Vanderbilt University to pursue a bachelor's degree in biological and life sciences before beginning medical school.

April 29, 2011, Springfield, Mo. - BluCurrent Credit Union announces the three winners of the BluCurrent Joy Jones Memorial Scholarship: Christina Beatie of Aurora, Joshua Anderson of Springfield, and Lauren Kerivan, also of Springfield. Scholarship certificates were awarded at BluCurrent's 82nd annual meeting, which was held on Monday, April 25 at the University Plaza. Applications for the $1,000 scholarships were offered exclusively to members of BluCurrent graduating from high school.

"We're excited to support the next generation of leaders," said Steve Pierson of BluCurrent Credit Union. "It's an honor to award these scholarships to such bright young men and women; we're excited to have a part in shaping their futures."
