BluCurrent is fortunate to have member volunteers servings on its
Board of Directors. The Board is composed of talented individuals who play a huge role in the success of the credit union. Each has many great characteristics that we'd like to share with you! We hope you enjoy getting to know Jana.
Q: When did you start volunteering at BluCurrent?
A: 2017
Q: Give a brief overview of your volunteer duties at BluCurrent.
A: I started as an Associate Board Member in 2017 and served on the supervisory committee. I was appointed to the Board of Directors in August of 2018.
Q: What do you do outside of volunteering at BluCurrent?
A: I am currently self-employed and sell health and life insurance in the individual market.
Q: What does your typical day look like?
A: In addition to my office, my husband and I own four printing businesses around the area, so my days have many tasks.
Q: What is your favorite thing about volunteering at BluCurrent?
A: I enjoy the learning opportunities that is presents, but also being part of such a community-minded organization.
Q: If you could pick your dream job, what would it be?
A: My mom always said, "There is no perfect job or everyone would have it." That being said, I'm pretty close to living the dream!
Jana is married to her husband, Rod. They have a son named Jake. They have two pets in their home and a "shop kitty" named Boomer.
