Card Not Working? Follow these Steps.


  1. Check to see if you have received any alerts from our team. You'll receive alerts in this order: text message(s), phone calls, letter in the mail. Please note: we will never ask for sensitive information via these channels.
  2. Ask yourself if the transaction exceeds your daily spending limit. If so, this is likely the cause. Give us a call if you are interested in increasing your credit card limit.
  3. Are you traveling? Have you recorded your travel information with our team before taking your trip? Pro tip: Send us a note through online or mobile banking letting us know when and where you're travelling. 
  4. Have you checked your online or mobile banking account to make sure the funds are in the account to spend?
  5. If you have completed all these steps and are still unsure why the card will not work, please give us a call during business hours at 417-887-1983 x471 (dial 1, followed by the extension) or email info@blucurrent.org.
