Introducing Digital Issuance
We’re excited to announce the launch of a new feature designed to make your banking experience even smoother — Digital Issuance is now live in the BluCurrent Mobile App!
With this new update, you no longer have to wait for your debit or credit card to arrive in the mail before you can start using it. Shortly after your card is ordered, you’ll have the option to add it to your digital wallet — including Apple Pay and Google Pay— right from the app.
What is Digital Issuance?
Digital Issuance gives you quicker access to your card by allowing you to push it to your digital wallet soon after it’s created. Whether you’re opening a new account or replacing an old card, there’s no need to wait for the physical card to arrive before you can start making purchases.
Why Use a Digital Wallet?
Digital wallets offer a secure and convenient way to pay. Your card details are never shared with merchants — instead, digital wallets use encryption and tokenization to process transactions, making your payments more secure than traditional card swipes.
Plus, it’s fast, easy, and contactless — no digging through your wallet required.
How to Add Your Card
Getting started is simple:
- Open the BluCurrent Mobile App
- Select the account linked to your card
- Tap on Card Services
- Look for the digital wallet icon
- Tap to add your card to your preferred digital wallet
That’s it! In just a few taps, your BluCurrent card will be ready to use with Apple or Google Pay
Enhancing Your Experience
This new feature is part of our ongoing effort to improve your digital banking experience. We know your time is valuable, and we want to make managing your money as seamless and secure as possible.
