Proof of Insurance for your Auto Loan

When you finance your vehicle, you must provide proof of insurance and maintain coverage throughout the life of the loan. Read on to learn the coverage requirements and how to provide us with proof of insurance.

Your insurance policy needs to include:

BluCurrent Credit Union, control #2427, as Lienholder/Loss Payee PO Box 2746 Sioux City IA 51106.
Comprehensive and collision coverage with deductibles not to exceed $1,000.
Collateral must match collateral on loan document.
Policy Number, Policy Period, and Company Name must be listed.

If you are not sure that your policy includes the above information, you can contact your agent or refer to your Insurance Binder or Declarations Page provided to you by your insurance company.

Once you verify that your policy includes the above information, either you or your agent can use our online portal , or call (800) 653-8812, to provide proof of insurance.

It is important to provide us with this proof of insurance to avoid added premium coverage on your loan.
