Staff Spotlight: Meet Bonnie

At BluCurrent, we believe our most valuable asset is our staff. After all, they are who take such great care of our members. From the tellers on the front-line all the way up to our President, each member of Team BluCurrent plays a key role in making the credit union run smoothly. Our staff has so many great characteristics (both at work and outside of work) and we thought it would be fun to share those great things with you! We hope you enjoy getting to know Bonnie.   

Q: When did you start working at BluCurrent?
A: January 2003

Q: What positions have you held at BluCurrent?
A: I was a Teller to start with. When the Call Center opened, I was the first to sign up. I now work as a Member Service Representative in the Call Center. I love the daily interaction with my members.  

Q: What is your favorite thing about working at BluCurrent?
A: My goal is to serve our members and be of assistance in any way I can. A satisfied member is what makes it all worthwhile! Moreover, I enjoy working alongside our great team; they keep me young.  

Q: What is something some people might not know about you?
A: I was named after Bonnie Blue from the Book, Gone with the Wind. 

Bonnie has been happily married to her husband, Drue, for 34 years. Drue spent his career as a Golf Professional so it probably comes as no surprise they have an adorable pup named Caddie. Bonnie has two lovely daughters, Caroline & Stephanie, who both live in Kansas City pursuing their respective careers in Finance and Fashion Design.  

Bonnie is part of a monthly book club and dinner club. She loves the comradery of these groups. She also enjoys spending any time she can with her family.
