At BluCurrent, we believe our most valuable asset is our staff. After all, they are who take such great care of our members. From the tellers on the front-line all the way up to our President, each member of Team BluCurrent plays a key role in making the credit union run smoothly. Our staff has so many great characteristics (both at work and outside of work) and we thought it would be fun to share those great things with you! We hope you enjoy getting to know Maria.
Q: When did you start working at BluCurrent?
A: September 2016
Q: What positions have you held at BluCurrent?
A: I started as a Member Service Representative, then moved to the Member Services Center. I now work as a Member Service Representative in the Member Engagement Department.
Q: What does your typical day look like?
A: I receive a variety of calls every day. It is never boring.
Q: What is your favorite thing about working at BluCurrent?
A: I love that we get to educate and help members with their financial success both now and in the future. We have great products to save our members time and give them access to their information 24/7.
Q: What did you do prior to working at BluCurrent?
A: I worked at another credit union as a Bi-lingual Contact Member Service Representative in another state.
Q: If you could pick your dream job, what would it be?
A: Traveling around the world educating girls on how special they are and that God has great plans for their life. I especially like to teach them how to knit, craft and quilt.
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
A: I quilt, knit, and love to dance. I can also speak Spanish & French.
