Travel Tips & Tools

Do you have your next family vacation or another relaxing getaway planned? Before you pack up the car or board the plane, check out these helpful tips and tools to make banking from anywhere a breeze:

Notify us of your travel plans & make sure your contact information is up to date.

To prevent disruption of service (i.e. access to your BluCurrent credit or debit card), you will want to notify us of your travel plans. The easiest way to let us know when and where you are travelling is through online or mobile banking. Get started by selecting the account or loan your card is tied to, then choose the more options (3 dots) menu in the upper right hand corner. From there, you will select Travel Notice and follow the prompts to notify us of your travel plans and which cards you will be bringing. You can also give us a call or stop by one of our branch locations.

When you contact us, you’ll also want to confirm we have the correct phone number and email address on file. If we detect suspicious activity on your account, this ensures we can get in touch quickly to verify the transaction.

Get setup with our digital banking services.

You can take care of most of your banking needs on the go with our various digital services. Transfer funds, check your account balance, pay bills & more directly from your phone or other device with online or mobile banking.

If you have more in-depth needs, such as opening an account, you can speak directly with one of our local member service representatives through video banking.

Find the closest ATMs or shared branches along your trip or near your destination.

When you bank at BluCurrent, you have access to over 30,000 ATMs and 5,000+ shared branches nationwide. If you find yourself in need of in-person services during your trip, you can find your closest ATM or shared branch through the Co-Op locator tool.

Following these tips can ensure you can focus on the important part of your vacation – relaxing and having fun!
