Between all the fun events, the roll out of our Merchant Partner Program, and everything in between, 2016 was a great year to #BankwithBlu! We have to give credit to our awesome staff, incredible Board, and outstanding members for making this one of the best (and most fun) years yet. Here is a quick recap of some of the fun we had in 2016:
#PartywithBlu: BluCurrent Member Events
We were also able to host several surprise events, including providing free lunch from the London Calling Food Truck at our Sunset location and free coffee and Hurts Donuts at each of our 3 locations.
In addition to the all-member events we held, we offered two fun
Kids Club member exclusive events. In May, all of our Kids Club members & their families were invited to join us for a
morning at the Discover Center where they were able to play & learn in the three-story building full of interactive displays. In December, we held our
2nd Annual Breakfast with Santa at Incredible Pizza. Kids Club members and their families were able to enjoy breakfast, get their picture taken with Santa, and of course spend time playing in the arcade room. Click

#BluBuys: BluCurrent Takeovers
In February, we had our first BluCurrent
takeover at SkyZone and provided two hours of free jump sessions. In May, we joined forces with our friends at Pineapple Whip to provide
free whip for two hours. In August, we partnered with the
Greene-County Park Board and Fassnight Pool for a
pool party where we provided free entry and concession stand goodies for two hours. In December, we had our last takeover of the year at
Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park and provided free entry into their drive-thru light display,
Candy Cane Lane for an hour. All of these events were open to the community, and of course, all BluCurrent members.
#BluBonus: BluCurrent Merchant Partner Program
At the end of 2016, we rolled out our Merchant Partner Program. This program is a partnership with local business to offer bonuses at places our members love. All you have to do is pay with your BluCurrent debit or credit card and save!
