BluCurrent Credit Union Business Savings FAQs

Any business that is an LLC, Sole Proprietor, Corporation (S-Corp or C-Corp), Non-Profit, Partnership, Club, or Public Funds, and is headquartered or has a service location in one of the following Southwest Missouri counties is eligible: Christian, Greene, Howell, Jasper, Lawrence, Newton, Polk, Stone, Taney, or Webster.
Absolutely! As long as you have the required business documentation, you can open an account, even if your small business is new. A business savings account is a great way for a new business to save money for future needs, and it can also be used as an emergency fund for unexpected expenses.
You can make up to six withdrawals or transfers per month from a business savings account per federal regulation.
Because credit union business savings accounts are intended to encourage long-term savings, they do not come with a debit card or include check-writing privileges. If you need to access the money in your account, you can transfer funds to your business checking account or make a cash withdrawal.
Our business accounts are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) for up to $250,000 instead of the FDIC. Our accounts are also covered by Additional Excess Share Insurance (ESI) for $1,750,000 for a total of $2,000,000 of coverage per account.
Our business savings accounts do not have a monthly service fee.
The minimum opening deposit for our deposit account is only $5. After that, there is no average daily balance requirement or account balance minimums to worry about. Our deposit products give your business the flexibility it needs without having to worry about fees decreasing your bank account balance.
