What is an ITM?

An Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) is an enhanced ATM combined with video technology giving you the freedom to self-serve most eveyday transactions and request assistance when needed from a local BluCurrent video teller.

BluCurrent ITM's offer an an enhanced ATM Self-Service experience, including:

  • One point of access to view most of your BluCurrent Shares & Loans
  • BluCurrent Money Market, CDs, MyChoice Savings, HELOC Loans, Auto Loans, etc.
    • To view IRA information, a video teller will be able to assist you!
  • BluCurrent Share Transactions
    • Withdrawals, Deposits, Transfers, and Balance Inquiries
  • BluCurrent Loan Transactions
    • Balance Inquiries & Payments

Assisted Self Service with Video Teller

BluCurrent ITMs allow members to manage transactions independently, with the option to request help from a video teller at any point.

  • A Video teller can guide members through self service transactions.
  • A Video teller can answer account related questions and provide assistance as needed.

BluCurrent ITM's offer an an enhanced ATM Self-Service experience, including:

  • BluCurrent ITMs offer Video Teller services, connecting members with local BluCurrent tellers.
  • Video tellers can assist existing members with a range of account services, including:
    • Open new shares like checking, CD, money markets, or myChoice Savings
    • Handling card maintenance, address changes, and contact information updates
    • Setting up automatic loan payments and processing skip-a-pay requests
  • BluCurrent Share Transactions
    • Withdrawals, Deposits, Transfers, and Balance Inquiries
  • BluCurrent Loan Transactions
    • Balance Inquiries & Payments

ITM stands for Interactive Teller Machine. An ITM works similar to an ATM, but provides more robust self-service options and the ability to speak directly to a BluCurrent Teller in a highly personalized, two-way audio/video interaction.
The self-service option is available 24/7, whereas the ability to speak with a BluCurrent Teller is limited to business hours. You can begin any transaction by selecting the self-service option. During business hours, you have the ability to switch & speak with a teller to complete your transaction. If you prefer, you may also begin your transaction by speaking directly with a teller during business hours.
You will be speaking with a local BluCurrent Teller. These are the same employees you would see in branch or speak with over the phone when you call the credit union.
Currently, you can find ITMs at BluCurrent's S. National and Glenstone locations.
Drive-thru ITMs are available for use 24/7; the option to speak directly to a BluCurrent Teller will be available from 8:45am - 5:15pm. Lobby ITMs will be available from 9am - 5pm.
An ITM can do everything an ATM does and more.
Access to self service ITM functions require a BluCurrent ATM or Debit Card. For video teller assistance, simply touch "Talk to Teller".
BluCurrent ITMs are available to both members and non-members, but available services vary depending on account parameters.
BluCurrent ITMs have the ability to dispense coin, but do not have the ability to accept coin deposits.
Yes! $1 bills, $5 bills, $20 bills and $100 bills will all be available to choose from. Please note: This is subject to machine availability.
The biggest improvement ITMs offer is an additional self-service option that is available 24/7 to complete transactions quicker (hello shorter wait times!). They also provide the ability to complete more in-depth transactions from the conveniences of your car. ITMs will also provide BluCurrent a more cost-effective way to have a presence in additional service areas.
No. ITMs will not be replacing BluCurrent Staff. The ITMs give us the opportunity to reallocate staff and better utilize resources to serve our membership more efficiently.
