We've changed our name to BluCurrent Credit Union! Our credit union was founded over 82 years ago to serve hard-working Postal employees and their families, a history we're truly proud of. Now that our membership includes a 10-county area in southwest Missouri, we've selected a new name that better reflects our membership and the communities we serve. We're excited about a new chapter in our credit union's history! While we've changed our name, our passion remains the same: Fulfilling our members' dreams and ensuring that each step along life's journey is richly rewarding.
We're proud to introduce you to BluCurrent Credit Union.
Why BluCurrent? The "blue" is a subtle tie in to our past, specifically the color most closely related to the post office & their uniforms. We chose an alternative spelling because it's more unexpected and we want to encourage people to ask questions!
There are 2 main definitions for the word current, both of which we think describe our credit union ...
- Popular; in vogue; prevalent; related to time.
- Something that flows, such as a river or electricity; moving in a certain direction.
We know you'll have a lot of questions about how this change will affect you, so please check out our Member Q&A or contact us for more info.
