BluCurrent Memorial
Scholarship Program

The BluCurrent Memorial Scholarship Program was established in 1994 as a way to honor former elected officials, while also helping young members of the credit union that plan to pursue higher education. Since its inception, the college scholarship has awarded over $60,000 to over 40 southwest Missouri high school seniors. Click below to view past winners.

Mount Vernon High School graduate. Cole plans to attend Oklahoma Christian University and major in Business. He hopes to use his experience working at Chick-fil-A and the education he receives to be an owner/operator of his own Chick-fil-A store one day.

Laken Parrish

Willard High School graduate. Laken plans to attend Missouri State University and major in Cellular and Molecular Biology. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she plans to attend medical school and become a trauma surgeon.

Micah Gray
Lucy Murrow

Ozark High School graduate. Lucy plans to attend Grand Canyon University and major in Fine Arts with an emphasis on photography & film. She plans to use her passion for photography and her education to start her own photography business.

Logan-Rogersville High School graduate. Dorie plans to attend Missouri State University and major in Secondary Education. Her career plan is to be an art teacher at the Middle or High School level. Eventually she wants to teach at the University level.

Strafford High School graduate. Lindy plans to attend Southwest Baptist University and major in Elementary Education and obtain her Master's in Education. She also hopes to utilize a Communication or Theater minor to become a motivational speaker.

Micah Gray

Home School graduate. Micah plans to attend Missouri State University and major in Computer Information Systems, and work as a Server Manager. He is also looking forward to pursuing a law degree.
